Recently images from Skullphone, a street artists, appeared across LA on Clear Channel billboards. Supertouch reported the system was hacked and Skullphone got over. LA Curbed and other sources have apparently confirmed the ads were just that and were paid for. Interestingly Supertouch has turned off comments for the post.
It's funny to me that somehow blogs are saying that Skullphone has lost street cred over it, when the whole point of graffiti/street art is to get your name out there and Skullphone managed to do just that in a bigger way than if he merely hacked the system. Anyone that's been in the game knows that legal get-overs beat jail every time.

Victory,
The only ones who would say he lost street cred... Are the ones unable to earn a paycheck for their art... I agree legal graf beats jail time every time!
