Jose Parla aka Ease is a style master. He perfected his chops in Miami and blessed the big apple with his talents full time in the 90's. His style continues to evolve, as well as simplify, moving from multi-color murals to layers of hand styles on canvas. He's carved out a career as a full time artist by re-contextualizing the streets in his gallery work (my words, not his). He's yet another example of a graf writer done good and not ignoring his past.

Beyond all of that, he's a real cool cat that has lots of stories about Cuba and his family that still lives down there.

He's showing iat Il Trifoglio Nero in Genoa, Italy starting March 29th. He'll also have his first solo show in the London later in the year Elms Lester (the cool spot for street artists showing in galleries) in October. He's often showing state-side, so keep an eye out for his works.
