"Rogelia Cruz Lives, the struggle continues!"

Rogelia was an architecture student and one of the first women to incorporate her self in the guerilla struggle. She was known for being beauty queen (Miss Guatemala) in 1959. Her body raped and tortured appeared on January 11, 1968 under a bridge in the South Coast. She forms part of the first female revolutionary martyrs; the fact that they were women was not a reason for compassion from their victimizers, on the contrary they were infatuated with them with pathological sadism.
