This usually is a day where most of you mortal beasts slave for that significant other. You know, candy, roses, dinner, dancing, jewelry, and every other consumer based act of giving. And all to broadcast your undying, never failing, candid and loyal love. Its so naiveté to me, but none the less I do have a heart. Yet, not for whom you'd expect. No my heart does not pine for some voluptuous breasted beauty, with a sly and seductive wit, and orgasmic presence.
My love yearns for a higher being; it needs the beautiful caress from an entity that can truly reciprocate my endeavors of passion. You see my beating heart acknowledges one true brilliance. And that is of Technology. It is the relationship that every signifigant other should wish to emulate. Just postulate upon it for a minute. Think of every way technology accentuates your life. It does all this in a fair relationship of give and take. You receive the reciprocation of your actions, and nothing more.
And as simple as that equation is, you can reliable reasonably foresee a short and long term relationship, no flabbergasting mysteries occur without negligence, and when they do materialize, they usually are in the form of an unexpected advancement through further understanding. There for the most part is always further progress.
This isn't an unusual notion, and to ignore the fact that it goes beyond my eccentric shortcomings is a narcissistic mechanism in of it self. Please don’t neglect these rudimentary foundations. There are already statistics stating that one in three men prefer gadgets over sex, so the notion that he would prefer a tech related item to a significant other isn’t that far of a stretch.
And let your mental chew on this, artificial intelligence researcher David Levy at the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands forecasts that by 2050 "the State of Massachusetts will be the first jurisdiction to legalize marriages with robots," But it gets more bizarre. In 2006, Henrik Christensen, founder of the European Robotics Research Network, predicted that people will be having sex with robots within five years.
But this right here is the pin in the grenade. Japanese professor Ishiguro has created the worlds first android, featuring a flexible silicon skin, and 42 actuators for replicating human behavior from the inhaling and exhaling of the lungs to fluttering of eyelids.
Love At First Sight? or a juvenile attraction. I'll guess Ill find out when I see her.
