I told you exciting things would happen… Today, Reggaetón Superstar Daddy Yankee officially endorsed John McCain for President. It happened earlier this morning at Central High School in Arizona where Senator John McCain was talking about the importance of voting and national leaders. The crowd was full of enthusiastic young Latinos and Latinas. And John McCain promised a “special guest” with a “great American success story”. Then he came out. Daddy Yankee endorsed John McCain and said, he “believes in McCain’s ideals and proposals”, and that, "he's been a fighter for the Hispanic community and I know that, me personally, I'm choosing the best candidate, because he's been a fighter for the immigration issues," Ayala said. "So, for me, he's the best guy to lead this nation." Wow that’s pretty cool. Yankee’s the celebrity and McCain’s the next President. Separate roles for different people. Tell that to Obama. Yankee’s going to get a lot of criticism for this since Democrats expect us Latinos to succumb to them. But guess what, “we’re not”. We’re united for a better future. McCain’s got the plan to bring down the price of Gasolina. We want to see real immigration reform, and not just “empty”, “unexplained” promises. Consider McCain, he’s got the right ideas for our community. Check out the C-SPAN Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q1sV7ZkzQYU
