Mango Salsa: Food Gone Foul

Pan Latinoism has run amuck. I was reading an old Latina magazine. Man, it's hard to make a dollar off a Latino. That magazine's been through 4 people and 2 generations to my awareness. There could be more. Anyway, they tried to pass off a wack recipe as Latino. Mango Salsa.
I can't post the recipe or my broke ass will get sued, but two main ingredients are mangos and onions. Doesn't that sound foul? How many Latinos do you know that sit down with a bowl of fruit and add some onions? I know most Latino nations have experienced/are experiencing tiempos de hambre, but I believe we have more self respect than to add onions to some fruit. I can't cook, so I don't know, but dang. Would you take your tortilla, put some mangos and onions in it and fold it in half? I didn't think so.
If you happen to be from that mythical pan Latino country that eats onions with their mangos, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to disrespect your heritage. Have a piece of chicle. But I don't believe it. I think some assimilationist bamboozled us with this foul recipe and is trying to burden us with the blame.
