 According to Forbes’  “Cash Queens of Music” list, Madonna is the top-earning female in rock. She raked in roughly $72 million from June 2006 to June 2007 thanks to her “Confessions” tour, her endorsement deal with H&M and her record sales. The $72 million doesn’t even taken into account the contract Madonna signed with Live Nation in October, which reportedly netted the singer $120 million. So for those who feel that Madonna is outdated, take this one. I think she might not have an amazing voice but there are definitely lots of brain power and creativity there.

 

 

The list's top three also included Barbara Streisand, who I can't not listen for more that 30 seconds, with her comeback tour, landed at #2 with $60 million. Charging only $300 per ticket, Babs, 65, was also the distinguished elder of the top 20 women earners. Then we have my other NOT so favorite: Celine Dion. God I thought she was retiring!!! Thanks to her Caesar's Palace mini retirement she earned $45 million. At 4th place, the first Latina on the list, Shakira, managed to gather $38 million.
