In 1975 -I became the first Latino to have a presence in Hip-Hop music.

In 1982 -I embarked on a 25 year culinary career.
As one of the world premier executive chefs I have created some of the worlds
greatest menus, worked at some of the most respected houses, served the worlds richest and most powerful people including 3 former presidents and numerous dignitaries.

In 1999 was stricken with thyroid cancer.

In 2004 I was stricken again.

Early detection helped save my life.

I am Luis Alberto Cedeño. Some of you may know me as Hip-Hop Pioneer DJ Disco Wiz; Hip-Hops first Latino DJ. But what most of you may not know is that I am a 2 time Cancer survivor.
I am truly blessed and lucky to be alive, learn to listen to your body.
Look for abnormalities- such as rapid weigh gain, weigh loss, extreme fatigue, lumps and blemishes. Get annual check ups and screenings. Early detection can also save your life.
