I've been on a little bit of a running shoe kick lately and I'm keep with that theme with this post. This next shoe is a hybrid of 2 classic Air Max models:  the Air Max Plus & the Air Max '97.

The Air Max '97 is far more popular here in the states but the Plus had a big following when it came out in the late '90s. This pair consists of a all black mesh upper with flame like stripes coming down the sides. The mud guard and toe cap are a black patent, a nice touch on this shoe. My favorite part of this shoe is the use of the Air Max '97 sole. The Air Max '97 is a favorite of mine so I may be a little partial, but I really feel this one change completely changes the look of the Plus. Prior to this release, I wasn't a huge fan of the Plus but could never really pin-point why that was. This releases confirms in my mind that the sole is the reason for my dislike fo the original.

This off the hook hybrid is already available in stores and is a Footlocker exclusive here in the states so keep an eye out.
