Last nite was the premiere of David Axelrod's movie of a live show he filmed in jolly old London.
David has produced over 500 albums in the last 40 years. He is one of the best producers/arrangers around.
He is also a funny old man as I came to find out at the Q & A after the movie. People like Rhettmatic were asking
him about his work and what he thought of sampling. David, in so many words, likes sampling...it's a good pay day for him.

 The movie showed at the famous Egyptian theater in Hollywood. All the hipsters were there, along with the crate diggers, local producers, and music heads. As you can see below...

JRocc was also present to provide some tunes afterwards. All records he chose were by David.

Of course you can't have one of these events without THe Hit + Run Crew. I see them everywhere these days! Anyways, they were there printing up shirts on the spot for a 20.
